This is help me save a lot of money for not buying similar radios. The Old Radio Rating the best work on radios made between 1934 and 1938 with wood cabinets. You could rate a plastic radios (1935-1938) and early radios (1931-1934), but with not accurate result. |

1. How do you like cabinet?

Here are a couple examples of cabinets rating. Every time compare you radio cabinet with more stylish cabinets, cabinets with unique shape, and cabinets definitely with better design, more details, complicated speaker grill, more veneer veriety, and craft work. Don't over rate you radio cabinet. |

3. How do you rate knobs?

Generic - Plane knobs. |

Unusual - Marketed knobs. For instance: marketed "VOLUME", "TONE", etc. Knobs with brand name logo. (Silvertone knobs marked with letter "S", Zenith with letter "Z"). Knobs made from more then one material. (Two kind of wood, wood and plastic, wood and metal, etc). Early wooden knobs with flower petern. |

Just count tubes on a chassis. Don't forget eye tube, if it is there. |
